If I wanted to race on June 28 in the limited race what would I have to do as far as tires are concerned ? Thanks Stuart

Stuart, Since this will be your 1st race, you will be eligible to buy 2 new & 2 used tires. You will however be required to run the next 2 races on them. The tire rule has been changed so that we will get 3 races on a set of tires.

thanks for the reply J.J when was the last time limiteds were allowed to buy four new tires? and when can they again? I was just wondering if buying the tires like you said would put me on an even pllaying feild with the rest of the drivers or would I be at a disadvantage for the three weeks I couldn't buy tires i am not complaining I just want to understand the rule better I don't want to go up to shenandoah and waste my time if I am already goin to be beat by tires before I start thanks Stuart

They could all buy 4 tires at the last race, they raced 50 laps and the tires were impounded until the next race.

thanks for getting back to me so as long as I buy two new tires on the 28th and two used ones on the 28th then the next time everyone else is able to buy new tires i will be allowed to also? is that correct? thanks for your help stuart
